THE COMPANY

DRV is a Pennsylvania corporation founded in 1981 with a sales territory including Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Northern Ohio, New York and Southern New Jersey. We service this geographic area with twenty employees, five of whom are assigned to outside sales, six to inside support, four to control engineering, two to panel construction, and three to field service and startup.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

DRV’s philosophy is to professionally present both the product and the manufacturer to our customers with the degree of service to meet customer needs. In its simplest from, we provide “off the shelf” servo drive, servo motor, variable frequency drive, closed loop vector drive, DC drive, and gear reducer components. If a customer needs more engineering assistance we can furnish microprocessor based level controllers with a bubbler or pressure transmitter as the primary measuring element; PLC based simplex, duplex or triplex pump control systems; or completely integrated multi axis coordinated motion control systems. Additionally we offer computer aided drafting (AutoCad), panel fabrication and assembly (with an Under Writers Laboratories U.L. 508A label if required), programming, testing, installation and startup assistance.
These “value-added” services are a key to our success, as they allow us to provide a truly differentiated solution to our customers. Despite our engineering and system integration capabilities, DRV is a distributor. Engineering and system integration are strictly a means by which we facilitate the sale of the products we distribute.

OUR SERVICES

DRV maintains an outside field service organization that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for startup of integrated systems and routine/emergency service. All our outside service staff is factory trained and authorized to perform factory warranty service.
